Comprehensive Warranty Policy

Effective Date: October 2026 • Backed by Certified Bench Labor

1. Ninety (90) Day Bench Labor Guarantee

All diagnostic remediation, component-level soldering, thermal repasting, and hardware replacement labor executed by Tekcom Solutions is covered by our standard 90-Day Labor Guarantee from the date of checkout. If the specific issue originally serviced recurs within 90 days due to defective workmanship, we will re-evaluate and correct the defect with zero additional diagnostic or labor charges.

2. Replacement Parts & Hardware Warranties

Replacement hardware supplied by Tekcom Solutions (OEM laptop displays, mechanical fans, power supplies, memory modules, solid-state drives, and DC jacks) is backed by the original manufacturer’s limited warranty:

New Components 1 to 5 years manufacturer coverage depending on brand (Samsung, Corsair, Crucial, Seasonic, Western Digital).
OEM Refurbished Components 90-day direct replacement warranty through Tekcom Solutions lab inventory.

*Tekcom Solutions acts as the liaison to handle return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) for any components purchased through our shop that fail during their active warranty cycle.

3. Custom PC Rig Builds (1-Year Turnkey Warranty)

Custom workstation, creator, and gaming rigs assembled by Tekcom Solutions carry a dedicated 1-Year Comprehensive Assembly Warranty. This covers cable architecture integrity, liquid cooler pump mounting, thermal interface stability, BIOS firmware updating, and stress burn-in stability, alongside all individual component warranties.

4. Ultrasonic Liquid Damage Repair Limitations

Board-level repairs on devices subject to liquid immersion or fluid ingress are inherently unpredictable due to ongoing microscopic copper oxidation and silicon galvanic corrosion. While our ultrasonic chemical baths and trace soldering restore functional integrity in the majority of cases, liquid-damaged boards carry a 30-day limited guarantee restricted strictly to the power delivery traces rebuilt by our technicians.

5. Express Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage shall be rendered immediately void upon the occurrence of any of the following events:

  • Physical damage, drop impact, chassis bending, or broken display glass occurring subsequent to checkout.
  • Subsequent fluid contact, liquid immersion, or extreme environmental moisture exposure.
  • Tampering, repair attempts, or disassembly by an unauthorized third party or end-user after service.
  • Unregulated electrical surges, lightning strikes, or improper non-OEM external power adapter usage.
  • Reinfection by computer viruses, spyware, ransomware, or OS file corruption resulting from user download activity following clean OS installations.
